Saxophone Quartet feat. Jon Mueller (US)
This project is collaboration between 1st class musicians. All from different music subcultures. The saxophone quartet has its base in Copenhagen. Jon Mueller coming out of Milwaukee of a more noise-rock improv tradition this can only be a clash of dimensions! We hope to bring music of exquisite joy and pleasure for the open minded. Jon Mueller works regularly with the group Collections of Colonies of Bees, and has performed or recorded with members of the groups Swans, Wilco, Bon Iver, Rhys Chatham’s Guitar Trio, and many others.

Fra De Varme Lande The Danish Group with the odd name Fra De Varme Lande lives in the underground of Copenhagen. Every once in a while they surface presenting a mere explosion of eastern European inspired energy in a musical blast that leaves swells long after the group’s return to the underground.

Master Fatman aka Comando Gordo + Comunidade Sound System + Belaj Kru + DJ Dix-OneHyperactive Kid (DE) Hyperactive Kid is a Berlin based trio playing in a rather unconventional constellation. The bassless setup allows saxophone, guitar and drums to go on other musical paths. Since 2003 Hyperactive Kid fuses different styles in music – Jazz with Rock, HipHop, Free Music, Drum & Bass and Modern/Contemporary Music. All the members contribute original compositions. Tre af vores hårdeste improvisers går på scenen med den utrolige perkussionist Adam Rudolph, der har gjort sig gældende med såvel Don Cherry som Yusuf Lateef.. Odderen er kommet for at blive!

Volkstanzkomitee (D)
Since 2003, the Frankfurt LP-spinning collective “Volkstanzkomitee” (“folk-dance-committee”) has been organising dance nights with wild folklore from the Caparten to the Caribbean: They make you sweat with high speed gypsy-folk, Russian *schmachtknaller*, Indian wedding dances and all sorts of musical absurdness from Turkey, Africa, Romania and Jamaica.
